Michael Teixeira is an accomplished artist, producer, studio/touring musician, and D.J. He started his musical journey at a young age learning guitar, drums, and piano. He then developed a passion for learning the different elements of a song and how it is put together, particularly top 40 music.

From there he became involved in music programs at his high school and decided that music was going to be his future. Attending the world famous Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, CA, he gained even more musical knowledge and insight to what it took to succeed. Michael then began his professional career working for Drive Thru Records and immersing himself in the industry. He then moved on to play guitar and produce for internationally renowned Pop R&B artists Ray J and Brandy on the 2005 Album: Ray J, Radiation released by Sony BMG music. He also recorded and toured with world famous artist Mya playing guitar on the 2007 album: Mya Liberation released by Universal Motown Records. Additionally, he has experience in radio working for Antena 3 Portugal as an official DJ performing at prestigious events in front of more than 10,000 people. His latest accomplishments include writing the hit dance/electronic song “Tonight Under the California Stars”- Michael Teixeira featuring Na'omi Bull, which is to be released on Vidisco Records.

Talented but outgoing and down to earth, Michael takes great joy and is eager to teach his knowledge. Whether you are a beginner curious to learn the basics or an intermediate ready to become more advanced, he can provide you with the tools necessary to unleash your musical potential!
